Last night, while watching some lame television, I outlined the first 17 chapters of The Garden Party.
This should be a pretty fun story to write, and must be comedic to work. There are currently not enough "serious" plot points to make it interesting. I figure since comedies vary in plot from being "tight in focus" to being "all over the place" this one is no different.
I have some concerns about Buddy wanting Leland and I to change his character. Buddy will be one of the laugh fodders at this point, but every character will be quirky in their own way.
Outlining the project made me miss those worry-filled "good ole days".
